Jane Bennett

Jane Bennett is professor of political science at Johns Hopkins University. She specializes in ecological philosophy, American political thought, and contemporary social theory. She has been a Fellow at IKKM (Weimar), Oxford University (Keble College), Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities (University of London), and the Humanities Research Centre at Australian National University. Recent work includes Vibrant Matter (Duke University Press, 2010), and she is completing a manuscript called Influx & Efflux: Writing Up with Walt Whitman.
